I am an Avid and Final Cut Pro Editor with over ten years of professional broadcast experience.
My creativity has been rewarded with multiple awards from film festivals around the world for my short fiction, animation and documentary Editing work.
My most recent job role has been as Senior Editor and Content Manager for a corporate and broadcast company. This involved offline and online editing work whilst also managing the workflow for all freelance editors including their acquisition, data management, storage, editorial, audio, grading, finishing, DVD authoring and encoding. I also had the privilege of working on many new media and interactive media based projects, from web design to YouTube channels and interactive video newsletters.

My background of forensic video analysis enabled me to plan the data flow in a tapeless environment which ensured a high quality, cost effective broadcast delivery method. I integrated hardware and software solutions to build a NLE, data storage system and film library.
Previous employers include Remedy Productions where I edited the MTV Rock Chart, Top 20 Chart Countdown, Zane Lowe’s Gonzo, The Official UK Album Chart & various shows for E4 & Channel 4, including 6 Degrees, Freshly Squeezed & Waking You Up. I also created motion graphics for E4 Music, MTV Base’s The Lick and MTV 2’s Gonzo. I am well versed in Photoshop & After Effects and have lectured in both Avid and Final Cut Pro editing. |
